Passover Mandel Bread

Ingredients:

½

pound butter or margarine

2

cup sugar

6

eggs

2¾

cup cake meal

½

teaspoon salt

¾

cup potato starch

6

ounce bitter sweet chocolate

1

cup chopped nuts

1

teaspoon cinnamon

2

teaspoon sugar
Directions:
     

Cream butter or margarine with the 2 cups sugar.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift together cake meal, salt, and potato starch. Fold into egg mixture.

Cut chocolate in small pieces, add and mix well. Add nuts.

Form into loaves 2 inches wide.

Mix cinnamon with the 2 teaspoons. sugar. Sprinkle over the loaves.

Bake on sprayed cookie sheet at 350° for 45 minutes. Slice into ½ inch slices while warm.
