From Death by Chocolate

cups heavy cream |
|
4 |
tablespoons unsalted butter |
|
4 |
tablespoons granulated sugar |
|
12 |
ounces semisweet chocolate broken into half ounce pieces (or chocolate chips) |

6 |
ounces unsweetened chocolate, broken into half ounce pieces |

4 |
ounces white chocolate, broken into half ounce pieces | |
| Directions: |

Heat the cream, butter, and sugar in a 2.5 quart saucepan over medium-high heat. When hot, stir to dissolve the sugar.

Bring the mixture to a boil.

Place the 3 types of chocolate in a stainless steel bowl. Pour the boiling cream over the chocolates and allow to stand for 5 minutes.

Gently stir until smooth.

Allow to cool to room temperature |

In a medium microwave safe bowl, heat the cream, butter, and sugar on high for 3 minutes. Then stir to dissolve the sugar.

Bring the mixture to a boil: microwave on full for 2 minutes 15 seconds.

Break up the chocolates and place into a medium bowl.

Pour the hot cream mixture over the 3 types of chocolate and allow to stand for 5 minutes.

Gently stir until smooth.

Allow to cool to room temperature |
