Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cake

Ingredients:

1

cup boiling water

8

ounces dried cranberries (or raisins)

1

teaspoon baking soda

2

eggs

4

ounces margarine

1¾

cups flour

1

tablespoon cocoa powder

1

teaspoon salt

1

cup chopped nuts

12

ounces chocolate chips
  cooking spray
Directions:
     

 

Pre-heat oven to 350°.

Pour boiling water over cranberries and soda. Set aside to cool.

Cream sugar, eggs, and margarine together. Add flour, cocoa and salt. Blend well.

Add cooled cranberry mixture, nuts, and chocolate chips. Mix well.

Pour into sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
